Building communities, not just houses

At any given time there are around 100,000 people living in a Genesis home throughout London and the East of England.
We see ourselves as more than just a housing provider; we believe it is our role to provide you with quality services and create thriving communities.

Our customer base includes many households facing severe challenges, some financial, others because of illness or disability and we provide a range of support to our most vulnerable customers to enable them to sustain their homes.

We provide vital Care and Support services to many thousands of people across London, Hertfordshire and East Anglia, a role that is ever more important against the background of local authority cuts and the pressures from welfare reform.

We have established our charitable foundation, Genesis Wellbeing Foundation, which is working proactively to shape and improve local neighbourhoods for our residents.

The amount of money we invest in supporting local initiatives is growing year on year, and supports a wide range of projects including providing employment training and support; volunteer training and work experience; youth programmes and projects for older people; and support for vulnerable residents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.

We will continue to work with you to help us get our services right for everyone. To help us achieve this we have two diversity customer forums: disability and LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender). Both groups have made valuable contributions in improving our customer service.
