We were named as one of the top 50 places for women to work in the annual list published by The Times in 2011

Customer service excellence

Genesis has been presented with an award to mark its achievement of the Customer Service Excellence (CSE) standard by EMQC Limited. The organisation, one of the UK’s leading improvement and assessment companies, decided that Genesis met the Government’s CSE standard for excellent customer satisfaction.

Investors in People

We believe that our staff are our greatest asset. We recognise the need to help our staff to succeed and to equip everyone with the right knowledge, skills and motivation.

As a result of our investment in our staff we have been accredited with the Investors in People standard (IiP). This standard helps organisations to improve performance and realise their objectives through the management and development of their people.

Health & safety accreditation

We are holders of the RoSPA Gold achievement awards scheme 2011.  The scheme makes achievement awards (merit, bronze, silver and gold) that are based on an independent assessment of the organisation's occupational health and safety performance.

Achieving the ROSPA Gold award recognises our high safety standards and the ongoing commitment by our managers, staff and partners to ensuring good health and safety management.

Stonewall top 100
We were picked as one of the best employers for lesbian, bisexual and gay people in 2012. Stonewall’s top 100 employers index  placed Genesis at number 33, making us one of only seven housing associations in the whole country to be included on the list.
