Woodberry Down

Woodberry Down in Hackney is our largest regeneration project and will see around 4,600 new homes built, as well as community facilities, schools and business units, over the next 20 years. The development is being delivered in partnership with Berkeley Homes Ltd and Hackney Council.

We work closely with local residents to make sure we build the homes and facilities that are best for them. The regeneration scheme is the essence of what Genesis represents, putting residents at the heart of our business, and developing a coordinated and extensive social regeneration programme to help provide new opportunities for residents to build better futures.

Already the scheme has won three top development prizes including the Daily Telegraph’s 2011 national British Homes Awards for the Best Social Housing Development.
