Youth programme

We are committed and passionate about widening young people's horizons and giving them the belief they can change their lives.

We are helping to deliver the Fixed for your Future project in Brent, which is funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

Our work includes:

Outreach and engagement
We work alongside property managers and anti-social behaviour advisors to deliver targeted outreach and engagement sessions in our priority areas.

Sports development
We have strong ethos of developing young people through sport. We give young people the opportunity of accredited training through schemes such as the FA coaching certificate.

Mentoring
We use mentors to encourage young people to manage their own development, maximise their potential, develop their skills and become the person they want to be. We are working towards the Approved Providers Standard with the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation.

Volunteering
We give young people volunteering opportunities to enhance their development and learn vital interpersonal skills.

Governance
We believe that young people should be involved in decisions that affect their lives, and participate in their local community.  We support and encourage the involvement of children and young people at all levels of the organisation, from decision-making through to day to day activities and projects.
