Supporting literacy volunteer

  • 2-3 hours per week
  • Full training provided

This volunteering opportunity will help you develop your skills in supporting young people to increase their educational skills and will help you gain confidence in working with staff, the community, children and young people.

Activities will include:

  • Reading to groups and individual young people
  • Work with schools in developing reading programmes
  • Attend promotional community events
