Work club volunteer

• 12 hours per week including travel time

• Do you want to learn new skills by supporting residents who are looking for work and training?

Work clubs provide unemployed people with a place to meet, exchange skills, find opportunities and get support to help them find work.

You will volunteer alongside Genesis staff to help people gain confidence and increase their chances of finding work.

• Helping job club members set a goal to be achieved by the next meeting
• Providing advice and guidance on preparing a strong covering letter, CV and/or filling in application forms
• Sign posting members to suitable training opportunities which would support their route back into work
