Stratford Halo

Our flagship development is centred around what will be the largest residential tower in Europe, rising to 43 storeys.

There will be 500 homes for sale, for rent and for shared ownership, 140 socially rented homes for Newham residents and supported housing. The development also includes a gym, four commercial units, a waterway, wetland planting and parking for 150 cars.

Genesis will be managing all of the properties,  overseeing everything from the extra care
facilities to the property managers who will be regularly meeting with residents.

Flowing underneath the homes is the Olympic district heating system, which will give residents a low carbon heat source and lower bills.  And dotted amongst the apartments in the tower is a green oasis of calm with three sky gardens.

Like so many other Genesis developments one of the big positive elements will be the work
of Genesis Community. They will be turning up at Stratford ready to offer the new residents
employment training and advice for residents who want to set up their own businesses.

The first residents moved in in November 2011, with the first private and shared ownership homes being moved into through 2012 and 2013.
