Genesis appoint new senior staff
As part of its ambitious, ongoing project to
become a leading property based service provider, Genesis Housing
Association has today announced appointments to new executive
positions. With a wealth of experience Laurice Ponting, Alastair
Clegg and Carol Wood will help Genesis deliver its new corporate
strategy as it continues to provide quality homes and services to
its residents.
With a strong track record in housing, Laurice
Ponting joins Genesis as the new Executive Director of Communities.
Laurice was previously Managing Director within Circle and before
that Chief Executive of Mercian Housing Association.
Alastair Clegg joins Genesis as the new
Executive Director of Organisational Effectiveness. Previously,
Alistair worked at Notting Hill Housing Association overseeing its
corporate services directorate.
In the new role of Director of Strategy,
Communication and External Affairs will be Carol Wood, who arrives
at Genesis with extensive experience of overseeing communications
across local government and the National Health Service.
Laurice, Alastair and Carol will work closely
with Neil Hadden, Chief Executive of Genesis as it continues
towards becoming a better performing housing association, improving
its delivery of services to residents. Neil Hadden said of the new
appointments: “We strive to be the best organisation we can be and
we are building the strongest team possible with a wealth of
knowledge and experience to achieve our goals. I look forward to
working with Laurice, Alastair and Carol, who I know will
contribute significantly to the further development of
Genesis.”
