Resident scrutiny panel meets Genesis Chairman

Charles Gurassa, Chair of the Genesis board and Neil Hadden, Chief Executive, held their first meeting with the Genesis resident scrutiny panel.

The panel is made up of representatives, largely residents, from each of our regional committees. It scrutinises the quality of service provided by Genesis to its residents, supporting our aim of providing a great service and being ranked amongst the top 10% of housing associations in the UK.

For well over an hour and a half panel members focused their questions on the contact centre and the repairs service. Questions were tackled by Chief Operating Officer Tom McGregor and Divisional Directors Feargal Ward and Olu Olanrewaju. Ten action points were agreed, including providing more detailed information on improvements to the contact centre and repairs services about exactly what improvements residents would start to experience and when.
