Zenith House, Barnet
Genesis and lead contractors Hill Partnerships are
working on the site of the former Zenith House, near Colindale, in
Barnet.
The development on the corner of Edgware Road and Colindeep
lane will provide 308 new flats and mews houses.
There will also be commercial or community
space, resident parking and a central garden square.
Planning was granted in early 2011 and construction is well
underway.
The carbon footprint is being reduced by measures
including community heating and photovoltaic cells to generate
electricity from solar power.
20 mews houses provide much needed family sized accommodation in
an attractive street scene.
The homes will be completed in Winter 2013/2014.
