Make a difference in the services we provide

At Genesis there are various ways for customers to get involved which can have a real influence on the way we deliver our existing services, as well as how we design new ones. We want to ensure that we work in partnership with our customers to improve, so your views, comments and ideas are extremely important to us. Some activities require a regular time commitment, such as:

  • Customer Scrutiny Panel

Undertaking reviews of specific parts of our services, making recommendations of improvement to the business which are adhered to and monitored regularly

  • Customer Disability Forum

Helping us to support and provide the best possible service for our disabled and vulnerable customers

  • Customer Antisocial Behaviour Forum

Helping us to improve the way we deal with antisocial behaviour.

  • Care & Support Customer Project Group

Ensuring customers in supported housing have the opportunity to work with us to improve and develop the services provided to them.

Other ways to get involved usually take the form of a one-off activity or project, meaning you can give as much or as little time as you wish. Examples include:

  • Testing new products such as our MyGenesis customer app
  • Reviewing communications such as the Spotlight Magazine
  • Participating in focus groups to give your views on specific services
  • Designing new products and services with us
  • Helping us to review policies which affect customers
  • LGBT meetings and events
  • Helping us to choose the right contractors for repairs, cleaning, gardening and more
