Transfers

If your home no longer meets your needs, you may qualify for a transfer. You may apply for a transfer to any area in which we have housing, but we are not able to indicate how long you will have to wait.

Mutual exchanges

A mutual exchange is when two or more people swap their homes.

You can exchange your home with another Genesis resident or a tenant from another housing association or local authority, as long as it is part your tenancy agreement. Speak to your property manager if you're not sure.

House exchange and Homeswapper are two schemes where people register to find people to swap homes with. They will look at your needs and match them with other people's homes.
