We use your information and cookies to offer services through this website. We want to be open with you about the use of your information and the use of cookies so you can decide if you wish your data to used in the way we intend.

What information do we collect via the website?

The information we collect through the website will vary depending upon the task you are trying to complete. For most tasks you will be asked for your personal information so we can identify you as a Genesis customer.

When reporting a repair we will ask you to identify the type of issue you are experiencing, your details and your tenancy type. The repair information you submit will allow us to raise a repair request for you and begin the process of organising an appointment for the repair to be fixed. The tenancy information you supply allows the repair reporting tool to present information related to the repair as our responsibilities change depending on your tenancy type.

We also offer a range of support services through the website. When you express an interest in one of these services we will usually ask you to supply some information. This information will be used to respond to your enquiry but may also be used to contact you in the future about this subject. We will always ask your permission before we contact you about the service you have expressed an interest in.

Generally the customer details we receive through the website will be used to validate the information we hold to make sure it is up to date and correct.
